This weekend was a big win for Seattle burlesque and nerdlesque. Let me explain…Mr. Wil Wheaton attended a comic book themed show at Emerald City Comicon and seemingly loved every second. If you don’t know who Wil Wheaton is, that’s okay. But, for some of us, it’s kinda of like telling non-burlesque folks “You don’t know who Dita Von Teese is?” But I digress. I’ve scheduled a clandestine exchange of a 3-day pass to Emerald City Comicon and finally sitting down to figure out my strategy. I’m a newbie comic reader but an old school fangirl. I’ve headed to ECCC for the last few years and my experiences have been mostly very good. Once GeekGirlCon came on the scene, my opinion overall has evolved a bit.
