Jo Jo Stiletto Jessica Obrist, aka Jo Jo Stiletto, is a burlesque producer, performer and historian, and is known as the Professor of Nerdlesque – the leading authority on all things nerdy in burlesque. She is currently working on Nerdlesque: The New Burlesque, represented by Red Sofa Literary.

She has written on the subject for Burlesque Seattle Press and Nerd Nite Magazine, and has been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, Geekwire, The Seattlest, Burlesque Seattle Press, Seattle Pulp, GeekGirlCon, and various niche blogs like The-Beheld.com. Jessica has presented lectures and moderated panels on the subject for events like GeekGirlCon, BurlyCon, VikingCon and Nerd Nite. Sometimes she does this dressed as Agent Dana Scully.

When not obsessing about all things nerdy,  Jo Jo imagines, produces, coordinates, and plans one-of-a-kind events. Most of them are nerdy. All of them are amazing.

Once upon a time, Jo Jo Stiletto was an active burlesque performer. She’s graced the stages of many venues in Seattle, as well as a few in New York and Los Angeles. She also is a founding member of the Rat City Rollergirls, a board member at the Theatre Off Jackson and the 2014 elected Mayor of Seattle Burlesque.
